Obituary of Peter T. Lantz

Peter Thomas Lantz, 30 of East Greenbush, passed away suddenly at his home on Monday May 9, 2022. Peter was born to Donald J. Lantz Jr and Yvonne (LaVoie) Coiteux.  Peter graduated Columbia High School in East Greenbush in 2010 and graduated Massachusetts College of Liberal arts in 2016.  Peter was recently accepted into the Merchant Mariners.

Peters was a loving brother, son, and friend with a large heart who showed affection to all those around him.  He was an avid sports fan who could be found watching his Brooklyn Nets, Cleveland Guardians, Miami Dolphins, and Manchester Red Devils. He also enjoyed listening to clips of the Howard Stern Show in between walks with his dog, Breezy.  Peter's Likeability was only exceeded by his candor and straightforward approach which helped him be passionate with everything he did.  Peter was a fearless and deliberate world traveler having visited India, Australia, Colombia, Vietnam, Mexico, Cambodia, and many other countries.  He enjoyed excitement, making new friends, and new cultural experiences. He will be dearly missed. 

In addition to his parents Peter is survived by siblings Timothy Lantz, John Lantz, Leah Coiteux and Daniel Coiteux. Grandmothers Gloria Lantz of New Jersey and Barbara LaVoie of Schodack. Peter is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and a niece.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours Friday evening 4-7 at the Rockefeller Funeral home 165 Columbia Tpk Rensselaer, NY 12144.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Peter's name to the Mohawk-Hudson Humane Society at 3 Oakland Ave.,Albany, NY 12204
