Obituary of Kathleen E. Bujak

NISKAYUNA - Kathleen E. Bujak, 67, of Niskayuna, passed away Friday, April 29, 2022, at St Peter's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

 Kathleen was born in 1954, in Albany, New York. Kathleen is the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Leah (Stott) Jasiewicz. 

 

Kathleen met the love of her life in 1968 with an introduction to Joseph from her sister. Kathleen and Joseph courted for many years while Joseph was in the Army stationed at Fort Dix in New Jersey. Kathleen would accompany her future in-laws for drives down to New Jersey to visit Joseph many times. Joseph and Kathleen's courtship turned into a marriage on August 19th, 1972. Kathleen and Joseph later went on to begin their own family starting in 1976 and would have 4 beautiful children, that meant the world to them. Kathleen and Joe would have celebrated 50 Years of marriage this August. Kathleen was a devout Roman catholic and read the bible and prayed daily. 

 

 Kathleen was Retired as a Maintenance Administrator for Verizon Telephone. Kathleen was enjoying life with her husband, and seeing her beautiful grandchildren daily. 

 

Survivors include her husband, Joseph. G. Bujak, daughter Patricia (Shawn) Bonner, sons Christopher (Stephanie) Bujak and Michael Bujak, and her beautiful Grandchildren Jacob, Matthew and Logan Bonner and Greyson and and Zachary Bujak as well as her siblings Kelly (Dan) Fahrenkopf, Susan (Ed) Lupian, Joanne (David) Bujak, Frank (Hilda) Jasiewicz, Jackie (Robert) McGurn and many Aunts, Uncles,  Cousins, Nieces and Nephews and God Children as well as her Best friend Patricia Neville in Florida.

 

She was Predeceased by son Nicholas A. Bujak, Her brother Joe and Mike and her sister Margret and her mother and father inlaw Kenneth and Jeanne Swenson and her Brother in law Glen Bujak . 

 

Relatives and friends may call from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM on Thursday at the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home Inc., 165 Columbia Tpk in Rensselaer. Followed by a funeral service  will be held at 4:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Kathleen’s name to a charity of the donor's choice.
