Obituary of Gail L. Secor

EAST GREENBUSH -Gail L. Secor, 80, of East Greenbush, passed away suddenly Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Home.

Gail was born in Rensselaer, New York, the daughter of William H. and Mildred (Hunt) Branion

She was owner operator of Millie’s Kitchen in Rensselaer and later retired from Hudson Valley Community College Food Service Department where she joyfully fed the “kids” for many years. She was Past Matron, District Deputy Grand Matron, and Grand Chaplain in the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include daughter Beth (Rusty) Buckner, sons Scott (Cathy) Secor, Gregg (Margie) Secor, as well as her Brother Joseph (Marilyn) Branion.  She will fondly be remembered as Meggies to her eight grandchildren Meghan, Sean, Rachel, Ryan, Caitlyn, Jennifer, Ashley, Alisha as well as her four great grandchildren Henry, Brayden, Seamus, and Hunter.  She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as dear friends (you know who you are).

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her adoring Husband Donald W. Secor, brothers William and  Raymond Branion.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Tuesday 11:00 am at Wm.J. Rockefeller Funeral Home 165 Columbia Tpk. Rensselaer. Interment will be in New Rural Cemetery East Greenbush, NY. Friends may call Monday from 4-7 at the funeral home Inc.
