Obituary of Christina E. Douty

COHOES - Christina E. Douty (Chrissy Yanus) 50, of Cohoes, passed away Friday, April 1, 2022, at Samaritan Hospital. 

Christina was born in Albany, New York, the daughter of Annette (Brown) Yanus and the late Raymond Yanus Sr.

She had a love for life, her children, her stepchildren, food, music and her best dog Rudy. She rescued Rudy but always said “he rescued me” She was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan and rarely missed a game. She was feisty, compassionate and wanted everyone to be happy.

 Survivors include her husband, Daniel J. Douty, Mother Annette (Brown) Yanus, sons David Coddington II and Alexander Valerio, brother Ray Yanus

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial service Saturday 4/9/22 10:00am at St. Michael Church 175 Williams Rd. Troy, NY

 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Christina’s name to the Humane Society which was very near and dear to her heart.
