Obituary of Judith B. Jerome

RENSSELAER - Judith B. Jerome, 72, of Rensselaer, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022.  Judith was born March 14, 1949, in Margaretville, New York, the daughter of the late Joseph and Muriel (Bedell) Golon.  She spent most of her young life in Albany before moving to Hampton Manor in East Greenbush. Judy was a secretary for the NYS Insurance Department for many years before retiring.  Judy was passionate about animals of all kinds and was a loving dog-mom to Cooper, Jeter, Taffy and Gypsy. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Thomas F. Jerome.

Survivors Include her children David (Amy) Jerome and Tammy (Sharf) Din; Sister of John (Colleen) Golon grandmother of Mariam, Husn, Jamal, Shadeh, Skyler and Riley; great grandmother of Nuriya, Parisa, Musa and Yasmina, and many loving family members, friends and neighbors who brought her joy and supported her during her difficult journey. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours wednesday 4:00 PM - 7:00 AM  at the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home Inc., 165 Columbia Tpk in Rensselaer. The Funeral Service will be held Thursday morning at 11:00 at the Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will be in the Saratoga National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the Hudson Mohawk Humane Society or the World Wildlife Federation.
