Obituary of Leo F. Montanye

EAST GREENBUSH - Leo F. Montanye, 58, of East Greenbush, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022, at his home in East Greenbush.  Leo was born August 2, 1963, in Albany, New York, the son of the late Marsha (Gavin) Montanye, nephew of late John Gavin and James Gavin.

Survivors include his brother Kevin Montanye, nephews Cody and Vaughn Montanye of East Greenbush, Nephew of: Jackie [Jack] Cassidy of Florida, Joseph [Ginny] Gavin of Florida, Jane [James] Bronson of Albany whom helped Leo through his difficult journey and take care of his cats who he loved and cherished.

Services will be private at convenience of the family. Memorials may be made in Leo’s name to the Albany Humane Society or a charity of the donor's choice.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc
