Obituary of Muriel Harriet Brady

EAST GREENBUSH - Muriel Harriet Brady, 95, of East Greenbush, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Albany Medical Center.

Muriel was born October 23, 1926, in New York, New York, the daughter of Albert and Sophie (Pfluger) Maier.

She was a Secretary for NYS Dept Of State for 20 years before retiring.

predeceased by her husband Joseph Brady. 

Survivors include her children, Patricia (Vincent) Riscvage, Linda (Thomas) Calamaras and Joseph (Mary) Brady, and a sister Vivian Lawrence. Proud grandmother of Jennifer (Donald) Harris, Gregory  (Caryn) Riscvage, Stefanie Washousky, Danielle Calamaras, Megan (Jamin) Riddick, and  Shayne Brady.  Great grandmother of Kaitlyn, Mason, and Madelyn.

Friends may call from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM on Friday at the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home Inc., 165 Columbia Tpk in Rensselaer. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at the St Pauls Church 1500 Western Ave Albany, NY.  Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery Glenmont. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Muriel’s name to Jeuvenile Diabetes Research Foundation 1757 Central Ave Suite 102 Albany, NY 12205.
