Dear Dad,
I am often asked who my role model is and I have always said that it is you. As I try to be a loving husband, a good father, raise 3 confident children and be a provider, I struggle and you did it flawlessly with a lot less resources. We always felt loved, never poor and just happy and laughing all the time. I love and admire you for that. I am your son and proud of it. You have made me to be the man that I am and can only hope that I am a tenth of the man you are.
Please do not worry about us. You and mom have successfully raised 3 children grounded in unconditional love and strong moral values. You have watched us grow up, attend university, get married and watched your grand children thrive. It is now time for you to rest and take care of yourself and take pride in all that you have built and taught us. We have always admired your strength and courage. We will take care of Mom as I know this is very important to you. We will miss you but you are always in our hearts through story and love. We love you
