Paul J. Wanback 69 of Rensselaer died Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Albany Medical Center. Paul was born in Albany the son of the late Frederick and Kathleen Wanback. He was a Production Manager for BASF for many years before they closed Paul then opened and managed the Seven Sons Restaurant in Rensselaer after that Paul was a realtor for Realty USA until his retirement. Paul was a huge NY Giants, and NY Mets Fan and for years he enjoyed Bowling and never gave up his golf. His favorite form of relaxation was to sit and enjoy his big loving family.
Predeceased by his brother Frederick Wanback.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife: Patricia A. (Carr) Wanback, his children Kathryn M.(Greg) Pinchook, Barbara A. Engle, Paul F. Wanback and Deborah M. (Tom Tethers) Salisbury. Paul was the proud grandfather of Stephen, Christopher and Michael Pinchook, Joseph and Evan Engle, William and Brandon Salisbury, and Thomas Tethers.
Brother of Johnny (Shelley) Carr, Linda (Fred) Cossart. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Chelsea.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service 4:00 pm on Sunday afternoon at the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc. 165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY. Friends may call in the funeral home Sunday from 1-4 at the funeral Home prior to the service.
